Splinter Cell (#Screen Shots)
Splinter cell on the consoles re-defined the word stealth in the FPS genre For the mobile version of the game ubisoft had a tough task, how would that transfer to 2D scaled down game play? but it seems to have worked, Sam Fisher is still as just as stealthy. Being a secret agent having alarms go off is a bad idea, luckily there a plenty of ways to disable an eliminate the bad guys, the number one rule in splinter cell has always been avoid confrontation at all cost, as you tend to live longer that way, however you will notice that you have a threat detector which goes from green to red depending o n the severity of the situation, one of same cooler items is a camera that help you by being able to see an scope out the surrounding areas add to this sams ability to duck behind cover an into darkened corners make for a very stealthy game. In the end sam will have to eliminate enemies its inevitable an he's well armed for that endeavour, sam has a silenced pistol with limited ammo that can take out an enemy in 1 shot, smoke grenades are also available an will knock out any enemy target in the area Plus has his trusty hand to hand combat technique. This is not a typical side scroller you will need to use sam skills to the fullest to move round the levels, climbing, crawling , scaling vertical an horizontal objects also rappelling down building is included, but as infiltration is the primary concern in getting to your goal this can prove somewhat difficult. In order to progress through the game you will need to solve different puzzles at each door what makes this difficult is the imposed time limit. the same time limit is imposed when try to break into safe s.. The multiplayer game has gone somewhere splinter cell has never gone before two modes of play are offered the first being a sniper game where you have to eliminate all enemies before they kill you. The 2nd is a Teamplay mode which is where the real action lies there are four missions available where you an your friend will have to work together to complete the missions, At one particular point in the game one player must hold a rope so the other can rappel down an activate a switch to take the 1st person down other times one player will be hacking a control panel while the other takes care of the baddies. The graphics are similar to the game boy advance which isn't a bad thing as the graphics were a great success on the GBA so as u would imagine there pretty good on the N Gage. The animation is smooth an the resolution acceptable. Splinter Cell is a great handheld game an with the multiplayer aspect makes this an enjoyable game with or with out a partner.
