The
sims has always been about letting your do what ever you want, a
chance to play play god with your sims life, build homes, control
when an where your little sime sleeps, look for employment an interact
with other NPC (Non - Player - Charactars) inthe virtual world.
Now
that the sim has moved to the handheld platform EA realized that
the game needed few changes to fit in with a different type of gamer,
the handheld version has more of a mission based enviroment with
task orientated goals to achive.
Creating
your sim from scratch is an easy task consisting of gender, skin
colour, hairstyle. Your sim can be further adjusted by chossing
how outgoin, or clean they will be, once you created your sim its
time to start living, they will require a large amout of time to
keep happy which will include all the daily routunes one would expect
to go through in real life, like eating, sleeping ,bathroom breaks
plus other things. The game starts out by you staying with
your uncle hayseed on his farm in a small town called sim valley,
the object of the Sims Busting Out is well to "bust out"
i.e getting your own place, however this is never straight forward
as you will form relation ships an seek emplyment along the way.
At
the start of the game the goals help you get used to how it all
works which is pretty straight forward i.e using the 5 button whnen
near an objet or NPC will allow you to interact with it. With
the inclusive menu options that shows your current inventory, state
of relation ships an missons tasks there plently to keep an eye
on on.
The
Game works on a time based system in which every second equals a
minute with in the game enviroment, however when sleeping the time
is accelerated thus you will not be spending to much time watching
your sim sleep. This does mean you can be right in the middle of
a task, missions an you will have to head back home to sleep or
even go for a bathroom break. The missions can be a little
repetive but can keep you entertained, add to this random events
which take place through out the day add more intrest, like your
electrical appliencies breaking or objects catching on fire. in
conclusion this version of this will have enough to keep sims fans
intrested.
